Katetian Moon Designs offers a variety of services to met your website creating and maintenance needs:

Consultation

An email consultation about what Katetian Moon Designs can do for you is free of charge.

Domain Registration

Domain registration is done for you at cost through our registrar of choice, GoDaddy.com.  This normally costs $10-15 per domain per year.  This fee must be paid in advance of site development.

Note:  Domain registration fees and web hosting fees are non-refundable.

Domain Renewal

You will be invoiced when your domain name is about to expire.  If I am unable to contact you at that time, the domain name will be allowed to expire.  This means not only that your website will no longer work, but someone else can purchase your domain name out from under you.  Make sure you keep Katetian Moon Designs supplied with current contact information.

Web Hosting

Web hosting through Katetian Moon Designs is available at a cost of $20 per month.  for the average site with average monthly traffic.  “Traffic” is defined as the number of “hits” your site gets in a month.  “Bandwidth” is another term that refers to how much “traffic” is moving through your website.   If Katetian Moon is designing your website, it is much easier and faster to have us also handle your web hosting since we will not have to go through an authorization process to be able to access your account on another web host. 

You may purchase as many months of web hosting services in advance as you would like.  Web host fees are billed on the 20th of each month for the following month and must be paid by the 1st of each month.  On the 7th of each month, if payment has not been received, the account will be suspended (the website will not be active) until payment is made.

Website Creation & Client Preparation

The creation of a new website, including domain registration and client preparation in terms of tutorials and any necessary phone or email consultations or training is billed at a rate of $25 per hour.  This includes the creation of any graphics, banners, site changes or other work to create the basic website.

If, for whatever reason, the client chooses to not complete the site design process, the client will still be obligated for the time invested by Katetian Moon Designs to that point, billed at $25 per hour.

Webmaster Services

Once the site is created and the client is trained to manage the site, it is presumed that the involvement of Katetian Moon Designs is completed with the exception of web hosting and domain name renewal. 

If the client desires that Katetian Moon Designs do all updates and maintenance to the website, this services is available at a cost of $25 per hour.  The hours spent managing the clients website are carefully detailed over a month’s time and an invoice is sent to the client on the first of every month.  The final number of hours invested in the client’s website for that month is rounded up to the next hour.  So if I spend 17 hours and 27 minutes on a client’s website, they are charged for 18 hours for that month.  Payment is due by the 15th of each month.  No webmaster services will be rendered on an account that is past due.

Website Optimization

Do you already have a website, but need for it to be updated and given a fresh, new look?  Website optimization services are available at the rate of $25 per hour, to be paid upon completion of the site renovation.

Website optimization clients will need to provide Katetian Moon Designs with the user name and password needed to access the website from the adminstrative side to make necessary changes.
